Resumo

The determination and evaluation of environmental in typical community districts
in Central Chile, presenting Mediterranean traits, constitutes the core of this
article based on initial aspects of the methodology of integrated surveys.

Moreover, the diagnosis of the behaviour, dynamics and quality of life of the
inhabitants of a typical community districts in Central Chile, is the objective of
tbese notes, which attempt to show the influence of the urban megagrowth of the
capital city of Santiago in the region.
