Bioethical use of Health Technologies in the last 20 Years: A Bibliometric Study in Scopus

Abstract

Background: The use of medical technology expands life possibilities, but raises responsibilities and philosophical, legal or political issues.

Objective: To carry out a systematic review on the evolution of scientific publications about the bioethical use of health technologies in the last 20 years.

Methodology: A bibliographic review was carried out using the Scopus database.

Results: The applicability of health technologies, from the point of view of bioethics, has increased in recent years.

Conclusion. There has been an increase in the number of publications regarding the subject of the bioethical use of medical technology in the last 20 years.
